OW3 led the design for the design-build team of contractor, engineers and architect to deliver a completed project to the tenant, Delaware Valley Community Health Inc. (DVCH).
DVCH is a private, non-profit healthcare organization that operates eight federally qualified health centers in Southeastern Pennsylvania delivering community based health services to patients regardless of their ability to pay at the time of service.
The design included an expansion of their current facility at the existing location to add more exam rooms, offices, a staff lounge, as well as adding a dental suite.
Working within the constraints of the existing tenant space, we reused as much of the original layout as possible to reduce costs, while utilizing the space more effectively.  The design included a public and a ‘back-of-house’ separation to allow the staff in the offices more privacy, while defining the shared common spaces.
